IMITATION is truly the greatest form of flattery!….

When you are a creator this phenomenon tends to happen more frequently in your life.  You get used to it but the older and wiser you become and realize your own worth and potential and  you begin to see that this “flattering imitation” becomes annoying and sometimes it just down right makes my ass itch!… i mean,  DAMN can you come up with an idea or concept of your own…. GEESH!

When i was younger it didn’t go unnoticed, i just didn’t care to inquire or talk about it.  Now that i’m older and wiser I’ve discovered that i’m owed money, lol  because not only have my ideas, concepts, thoughts and sometimes my words…WORD FOR WORD VERBATIM have been copied and used.  what this means is, I’ve been used as a consultant therefore, i should be paid.

Trust me, i know that more than myself have wonderful ideas because these are the types of people that i surround myself with at this point in my life.  And i would appreciate if other people like myself,  who have good ideas, and plan on implementing the ideas or concepts that they receive from Kiki….. SHOW SOME LOVE! GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE!

If someone inspires me to do something or create something, there’s nothing wrong with letting your inspiration know that they’ve been beneficial to your life, idea or concept.

DON’T WORRY, I’VE LEARNED MY LESSON…. and i’m thankful for a partner who has legal ez and has taught me to break out the paperwork!

The final realization of your worth and who you “really”are is always great. However you never can rewind the tape to take back the many conversations shared with the thieves. The truth is- you may never get the credit from those that took your ideas and slandered your name at the same time. You just have to know how awesome you really are. And then, the downside is -they’ll tell you by way of imitating you and nearly borrowing your identity for a ” come up” . Whisper around the robbers !! Mel❤️

I’m glad you wrote about this. I don’t ever recall reading an blog that was so to the point and expressed my sentiments so exactly. When you have a gift to inspire people like you and I possess, sometimes it’s hard to sit back and watch people you help act like sometimes they don’t even know you. What I love about you is that you keep helping anyhow, and that’s why your openly blessed. I would like to think that all of us have unique qualities and if shared can motivate someone to reach higher potentials. You are loved, blessed and envied by some. Shucks, you have inspired me to come out my comfort zone and write this to you. Thank you for being courageous, innovative, open and must importanly inwardly beautiful!
